Microsoft Entra Connect Health Synchronization

Resolved
Resolved

On October 7, 2025, at approximately 11:00 AM ET, Microsoft reported a service issue that delayed and reduced delivery of Microsoft 365 audit events to downstream integrations, which could have slowed related alerts in third‑party platforms. Microsoft indicated no data loss, only delayed processing and notifications.

Current status Resolved: as of October 8, 2025. We are monitoring for any further notifications from Microsoft and will update this page if anything changes.

Investigating

We’re aware of Microsoft Entra Connect email alerts today referencing “Password Hash Synchronization heartbeat was skipped in last 120 minutes” and, in some cases, “Health service data is not up to date.”

What we’re seeing Our monitoring shows directory and password sync servers are continuing to run normally for your tenant. Microsoft has not posted a public service health advisory for this at this time, and we’re tracking it closely. Similar alerts are being reported broadly by administrators today, which points to a temporary Microsoft telemetry/health-data delay rather than an outage.

What this means for you No action is required on your side. If you notice any sign‑in or password update issues, please let us know immediately and we will prioritize.

What we’re doing We are actively monitoring Microsoft’s service health and your sync status. If Microsoft publishes an advisory or if we detect impact, we will update you right away. Thank you,
