Microsoft has reported a service degradation affecting Microsoft 365 (Business and Enterprise) customers in North America. Users may experience intermittent issues including degraded functionality or inability to access multiple Microsoft 365 services.

What customers may see

  • Email send/receive disruptions in Exchange Online, including Outlook errors such as “451 4.3.2 temporary server issue.”
  • Potential impact to notification emails from Microsoft Viva Engage.
  • Difficulty accessing Microsoft 365 administrative and security portals, including:
    1. - Microsoft 365 admin center
    2. - Microsoft Purview
    3. - Microsoft Defender XDR

Microsoft’s current status Microsoft indicates they have identified a portion of dependent service infrastructure in North America not processing traffic as expected, affecting load balancing and general service availability. They are working to restore the infrastructure and rebalance traffic to achieve recovery.
