N-able RMM Service Outage Notification

Magna5, in coordination with N-able, is responding to a security concern involving a previously unknown, or “zero-day,” vulnerability affecting N-able Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) software. At this time, a security patch for this vulnerability is not yet available.

Out of an abundance of caution, Magna5 has made the decision to proactively isolate all N-able RMM servers while the security of the software is further evaluated and remediation steps are confirmed.

This precautionary action will temporarily affect Magna5’s ability to provide performance and uptime monitoring through the N-able RMM platform. Magna5 support remains available through normal support channels.

Magna5 and N-able will continue to investigate and address this concern throughout the weekend. We will restore RMM services only after we are confident that the environment is secure and it is safe to do so.

Magna5 takes cybersecurity and the protection of our customers’ environments extremely seriously. We apologize for any disruption or concern this precautionary action may cause and will provide additional updates as information becomes available.
